The last 5 years have been a formidable challenge for the financial services sector. Now that the worst is behind us, let's look forward, re-evaluate, or even change our operating models to cope with the "new normal". As we are entering uncharted waters, we can be sure that the journey will not be easy. However, it will definitely be exciting and rewarding but only if we get it right.
In this seminar, Mr Christophe Tummers will provide an overview of the new environment that financial services organizations now operate in; their strategies and the implementation risks they face. This seminar discusses the issues from a primary angle of Operations and Technology, but the ideas discussed can also be broadly adopted across the financial services landscape.
Christophe Tummers is Managing Director-Global head of Group Operations IT at UBS AG since last December. He is based in Zurich. Christophe has been with UBS for nearly 17 years where he held various Business and IT roles. Most recently, he was global head of enterprise production assurance and before that global head of HR IT. He worked/lived in Belgium, UK, US, Switzerland, and Singapore. Christophe studied computer science and holds an engineering degree ("burgerlijk ingenieur") from the University of Gent and ETH Zurich.
